Magnetic Field Behaviour in Single Coil


Single coil DC

1. Connect the terminals of the coil to the power supply.

2. Connect the Hall Sensor to the Oscilloscope.

3. Now check the connection. If it is correct, click OK.

4. If it is wrong, see the error message displayed and correct the connections.

5. Switch on the MCB.

6. Change the voltage to see the mathematical representation on the black screen, the graph in the oscilloscope and the formation of flux lines in the white screen .

7. Now change the polarity to see the change in the direction of current flow, change in the location of poles and change in the mathematical model.

Single coil AC

1. Connect the terminals of the coil to the power supply.

2. Connect the Hall Sensor to the Oscilloscope.

3. Now check the connection. If it is correct, click OK.

4. If it is wrong, see the error message displayed and correct the connections.

5. Switch on the MCB.

6. Change the frequency and voltage to see the mathematical representation on the black screen, the graph in the oscilloscope and the formation of flux lines in the white screen.
